Civic leaders from Hermiston, Ore., and the surrounding community took some of the produce for which the area is known to Portland, Ore., to give it away. It’s the 17th annual trip in which farmers have donated watermelon and other produce to Portlanders. Read more on the story here and see more photos from the event on our blog.
